![]() (I picked NMT option on the first screen and then LPCM and AC3 on the following screens) Then use clownBD to demux the HDDVD video to a temp folder (dont' use TSmuxer yet) Use AnyDVD to rip (I used a LG BD-R/hd-dvd unit off ebay) This is an old thread, but I'll share my technique after some trial and error and a bunch of reading. ![]() So my question is, Does anyone know of any Vista 32 bit software that will allow me to rip the HD-DVD's? I'm sure I can find handbrake or something similar to create a usable movie but need to find a way of doing the initial rip. I've tested the HD-DVD drive and it works fine with Vista after I deleted the various virus software and bloat the original user had filled the machine with. Fortunately I kept the old hard drive with Vista 32 from the laptop so I am not back with that version. While the laptop would support Windows 7 64 bit, when I installed that version I found that I had no software in WIndows 7 that would play the HD-DVDs. Problem is I'm stuck using Windows Vista 32 bit on the laptop. The problem I'm having is trying to get software that will allow me to copy the HD-DVD's. ![]() Sadly the Warner Rot has already taken its toll on a couple of disc so I am not trying to get the remaining ones copied while I can. I finally came upon an old Toshiba laptop that has a HD-dvd player built in so am now trying to figure out how to make back-ups of my HD-DVD collection. ![]()
